Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
Grate the cold ½ cup unsalted butter directly into the flour mixture using a box grater, or cut it into small cubes and work it in with a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
